Barkley Regional Airport intends to submit a new Passenger Facility Charge application to the Federal Aviation Administration to help fund eligible airport-development projects that preserve and enhance airport safety, security, and capacity.
The proposed application would continue the collection of a $4.50 Passenger Facility Charge per enplaned passenger and generate approximately $857,772 for four projects:
- Airfield marking and crack-sealing improvements

- Phase 3 of the Runway 5/23 rehabilitation project
- Preparation of the Passenger Facility Charge application
The proposed collection period would begin March 1, 2027, and continue through June 1, 2034.
