Barkley Regional Airport Authority is accepting sealed bids for the Rehabilitate Airfield Lighting Project at Barkley Regional Airport. Bids will be received until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at the airport’s administrative offices.
The project includes significant upgrades to the airport’s airfield lighting infrastructure, including the replacement of the airfield lighting vault, backup generator, rotating beacon and tower, associated electrical systems, and runway and taxiway lighting. Existing runway and taxiway lighting systems will be upgraded to energy-efficient LED technology to enhance reliability and operational safety.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Barkley Regional Airport Administration Offices.
Contract documents and technical specifications are available electronically by contacting Project Engineer Jake Marshall of Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. at jmarshall@cmtengr.com. Interested bidders are encouraged to register with the project engineer to receive addendums and project updates.
