Now Hiring: Fire Fighter EMT/Airfield Services Specialist

Barkley Regional Airport is seeking a full-time Fire Fighter EMT/Airfield Services Specialist to help maintain the safety, security, and operational readiness of the airport and its airfield.

This position plays a critical role in protecting passengers, aircraft, and airport infrastructure through firefighting, emergency response, airfield inspections, and daily operational support. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

 

Position Details

Benefits: Full benefits package included.
Schedule: Flexible availability required, including weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs.

Responsibilities include aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF), emergency medical response, airfield inspections, wildlife hazard mitigation, snow and ice removal, grounds maintenance, equipment operation, and maintaining compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations.

This role helps ensure Barkley Regional Airport remains safe, operational, and ready to serve the region 24 hours a day.
